More About Mitch

Mitch is the former director of the Montana Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Council (MEJATC) and started his private training company (Solid State Educators) in 2010. He provides instruction to; electricians, apprentices, inspectors, building codes officials, engineers, utility service workers, and solar installers. He also consults commercial and industrial clients on the National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace).

Mitch is a lifelong member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local #233).

Solid State Educators is connected with the Udemy training platform for online training.

 

Our first class, The Beginner's Guide to Testing Electrical Circuits, is a three hour class with video and written instructions, in-the-field demonstrations, and valuable DMM safety and operational guidelines. 

 

Upon completion, students will receive a continuing eduction certificate.  

 

The Beginner's Guide to Testing Electrical Circuits will provide the foundation to use and build on your diagnostic skills, whether you are an electrician, auto technician, homeowner, or DIY guy or girl.

In-Person Training

We’ll come to your workplace! Solid State Educators provides in-person group training at your location. Our most highly rated class is Digital Multimeters in Practice (8 hours). Sessions are limited to twenty people and include hands-on labs and site-specific applications.

 

A popular choice for business and industrial customers is to book an extra consultation day with Mitch after DMM training. He’ll work with technicians and other meter users in their specific job tasks relative to DMM use.

Taking Measure books and website training video access are included for all in-person training participants. Mitch’s expertise and experience include working in and consulting with various industrial and commercial industries.
